The Craft Irish Whiskey Co is a high end luxury whiskey brand based in Ireland. They are redefining the meaning of high end luxury whiskey with bottles of the Devil’s Keep priced at £10,000 & a launch of Emerald Isle (a collaboration between Craft Irish Whiskey Co and Faberge).
The challenge was to design and build a new website for the Craft Irish Whiskey Co. Because of the kinds of clientele buying the product, the website had to scream quality, high end look & feel and had to maintain key UX factors.
Assertive had to conduct research into end user behaviour before planning out the website, pages, content and transitional effects. The challenge ultimately was to generate more leads for their high end whiskey products.

The Strategy for the Craft Irish Whiskey Co was based on creating a more functional, manageable website on WordPress – maintaining some existing transition effects and blending a new high end look and feel into the design.
Because the brand and product are high end, it was of ultra high importance to convey this in the websites look and feel. With Unlock Creative, Assertive worked to produce the new website – improving transition effects and working to make the website better from a core web vitals perspective – also making it easier for Google to crawl and index.
Landing pages were improved substantially – layout enhancements were applied based on historic user behaviour – understanding where people clicked, what they did and didn;t like, what they engaged with etc this was factored into the strategy.
Making the website faster, lighter and more premium looking – we were able to help increase lead throughput.
The website, being on WordPress, was easier for Google to index, and ultimately this helped to improve some organic positions.
